New center for professional training of welders opened in Energoremont - Galabovo AD

From the beginning of 2020, welding students are trained in a new premises at the Vocational Training Center at Energoremont - Galabovo AD. The center is now in a completely renovated detached building, which offers many amenities for both teachers and students. So far, only welders are trained here, but the teaching system will also include training of other types of specialists - electricians, turbine and boiler specialists. The admission will begin by the end of the year.

The new building has a classroom for 21 students and is equipped with wide desks, a blackboard, multimedia, TV, overhead projector and other equipment. The theoretical training of the students is carried out in the classroom. The practical classes take place in a training hall located next to the main building. In the hall there are separate work cages, each equipped with welding equipment, the necessary materials and protective equipment. There is also a section for training with oxygen cutting. The locker rooms with compartments for men and women have been completely renovated.

Today's training center was established in 2003, after the privatization and modernization of the company by Holding Metalik. From 2003 until today, 1769 specialists have been trained and obtained certificates of competency in welding. Most of the students who have mastered the profession of welder have acquired additional qualifications, increasing their levels of competence and professional opportunities to perform welding operations of the highest class. .
